Experiment

  1. Weigh the glue: Tare a clear cup on the scale and measure 30 grams of glue into it.
  2. Measure the baking soda: Tare a weighing boat on the scale and measure about 4 grams of baking soda.
  3. Combine water and glue: Measure about 20 milliliters of deionized water using the graduated cylinder. Pour this into the cup with glue and mix using the stirring rod.
  4. Color the slime: Add two drops of food coloring and mix well to distribute evenly.
  5. Add the baking soda: Pour the baking soda into the cup and mix again.
  6. Add the multi-purpose solution: Measure 10 milliliters using the graduated cylinder and pour into the cup.
  7. Form slime: Stir the contents until they clump together, forming slime. Continue mixing until the composition is uniform.
  8. Optional adjustments: Add small or large increments of water, baking soda, glue, or multi-purpose solution. Add shaving cream for a fluffier texture.
